Product safety and standardization work is intended to strengthen a traceable market structure with reliable, quality products.
High-technology production to be supported
Under the HIT-30 High Technology Investment Program, large-scale investments in priority technology areas are to be supported through project-based mechanisms. The Technology Leap Program aims to open new calls for the domestic development and production of critical products and technologies.
The Strategic Leap Program is designed to back investments with high R&D content that secure supply and cut external dependency. The investment incentive system is being implemented through a selective, needs-based framework that takes account of regional development levels, with support criteria covering productivity gains, technology acquisition, energy efficiency, exports, employment and domestic value added.
Regional investment potential
Regional development efforts aim to narrow development gaps between regions and raise their competitiveness. Under the Local Development Leap Program, private sector investments focused on technological transformation, exports and employment are to be supported in line with investment needs identified at regional level.
Branding, design, packaging and certification processes for local and traditional products are to be encouraged to raise their value, and access to domestic and international markets is to be made easier.
