Aston Villa overwhelmed Fenerbahçe 6-0 at Villa Park in the second week of the UEFA Champions League league phase. The Turkish side fell behind to Manzambi's 12th-minute effort and never recovered, conceding twice more before halftime as Jackson struck in the 31st and 39th minutes.

Fenerbahçe started the second half with more possession and several half-chances, including an Oğuz Aydın shot that hit the crossbar, but Barkley converted a penalty in the 68th minute and added a second goal in the 72nd. Abraham completed the rout in the 90th minute after a McGinn pass. Goalkeeper Suzuki made a series of saves to deny Muric and Skriniar, while Ederson kept the score down at the other end before being beaten six times.

The result marked Fenerbahçe's heaviest European defeat since a 6-1 loss at Nordsjælland in November 2023, also under coach İsmail Kartal. Supporters in the away end called for Kartal's resignation during the second half. Aston Villa have now won all four meetings with Fenerbahçe, who have yet to score against the English club.
