The Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) unveiled plans at its Foreign Trade Complex for Turkey Innovation Week 2026, which will take place October 15-17 at the Halic Congress Center. The assembly will host the event for the 13th time, with support from the Trade Ministry.

Under the theme "Humanity 6.0 – Humanity's New Phase," the gathering will explore technological change with a focus on people. TIM Deputy Chairman Kutlu Karavelioglu said discussions would examine how people can adapt to and work alongside artificial intelligence. More than 120 speakers are planned across nine program areas and stages.

TIM Chairman Mustafa Gultepe said Turkey should develop and export technology rather than simply use it, linking that ambition to the goal of becoming one of the world's top 10 exporters. He said Turkey had climbed 23 places in the Global Innovation Index since 2013 and aimed to rise further.

Gultepe also said President Recep Tayyip Erdogan would present awards to the winners of the InovaLIG innovation competition on the event's second day. The competition received applications from 2,641 companies across 70 provinces.
